Elizabeth H. Taylor
Elizabeth H. Taylor has 28 years of experience in real estate development and
construction finance. Prior to joining Heritage Capital Group, she worked as a
small business consultant - primarily to local banks and construction-related
businesses. Ms. Taylor provided portfolio review for financial institutions and
also worked with small business owners to assess and consult on business
viability and reorganizing and restructuring business operations.
From
2005 to 2008, Ms. Taylor was a commercial real estate underwriter and originator
for Key Bank. She joined Key Bank after working with Union Bank of Florida, where
she served as a commercial real estate underwriter. Ms. Taylor worked on a
variety of project types including multifamily, homebuilders, retail and
office.
In 1989, after earning a degree in Building Technology from the
University of North Florida, Elizabeth joined the Haskell Company as a real
estate project manager to develop and finance commercial real estate, focusing
primarily on large single-tenant office and warehouse projects.
After
obtaining her BS in accounting and finance from the University of South Florida,
Ms. Taylor worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen and KPMG, focusing primarily on
healthcare and real estate tax planning. Subsequently, she went to work for The
Charter Company in its tax division.
In addition to her accounting and
construction degrees Ms. Taylor holds a BA degree in English and Political
Science from the University of Florida. She also holds a Real Estate Broker
license from the State of Florida.
