Quentin Kapke

 

Bio:

Mr. Kapke has 30 years of banking experience, as well as seven years of working for the State of Florida as an Examiner in charge of examinations in the southern region from 1973 through 1980. Following his position with the State of Florida, Mr. Kapke joined Barnett Bank, in Ft. Lauderdale, as Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate division. He later moved to Lakeland, Florida with Barnett as the Senior Vice President in charge of Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Kapke then relocated to Barnett Bank of Tampa, where he was Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Manager of the largest commercial real estate portfolio in the company. In 1993, Mr. Kapke joined Barnett Bank, Inc. Holding Company, in Jacksonville, as a Regional Commercial Real Estate Manager. In 1995 he was promoted to Director of Credit Approval for Barnett Bank, Inc. Holding Company, a position he held until the bank was sold in 1997. In 1998, Mr. Kapke joined First Tennessee Mortgage Company, in Atlanta, Georgia, as Senior Credit and Risk Manager. He functioned as Chief Credit Officer for Union Bank in Ft. Lauderdale in 2002. In 2006, Mr. Kapke joined Seacoast Bank in Stuart, as Credit Department Manager, until his retirement in 2007.

Mr. Kapke served for three years as a member of the Board of Directors for Main America Capital, a mortgage conduit originator in Atlanta.

Mr. Kapke was Managing Director for the BSE Management Fund on the due diligence team specializing in commercial real estate and credit process. Most recently, he has been performing loan due diligence contract work for private equity firms acquiring banks.
